From time to time we all need a "do over." And that time came to me when I heard that my first video where I did the Spinning Strip Quilt Card was out of frame to the point that it was not a usable video.
Staying in frame is one of the hardest things that us YouTube Creators deal with. Yes, there are other frustrations such as internet issues, upload issues, editing issues, saving your file issues, and the list could go on and on but the "staying in frame" is one of the most difficult things I deal with daily. I am trying to get better at this but it is a work in progress.
I do feel that sometimes this happens and it doesn't effect the quality of the video such as putting glue on a piece of DSP or cardstock. As long as you can see the placement of the piece in question.
I do hope that by me doing a "do over" it will make it easier for you to follow.

Can you believe it's Christmas in July? Well it is and I am aware that this isn't for everyone but for us who like to get a head start on our Christmas Cards, it is a necessary evil. Not that anything concerning Christmas is evil...after all it is a time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus.
I love Christmas and I always enjoy the break that comes with Christmas in July. It gives me that needed break to step out and create with those warm glowing colors of the season. Reds, Greens, Golds and everything that sparkles. Be it the gleaming lights or the snow-covered roofs...it is a magical time for anyone that embraces Christmas.
With the new offerings in the Online Exclusives, we have a few new items to play with before the new mini catalog premeirs in September. I am sure that it will be full of all the beauty of Christmas. I can't wait to see the offerings for this coming season.

Every now & then, we need a little gift to give someone who goes out of their way for you, or someone you know that could use a little something to brighten their day. Well, look no further because this could be just the ticket.
Such a cute little box that you could fill with anything you like. Cookies, candy, perfume, lotion, handsanitizer, jewelry and the list could go on and on.
You could always include a gift card too.
I used DSP on both of these sets. And they both turned out so pretty.

Are you a fan of FUN FOLD CARDS? If you answered yes, you are not alone. I don't know if it's because they are delightfully intriguing to make, so much fun to give and sometimes very challenging for us as a cardmaker. For me, I love a good challenge and I'm always looking for something that is a challenge as well as easy to teach.
I think I found both in the design of this card. I had so much fun with it in both the design and in teaching it in the video tutorial.
I hope you too will love it as much as I do. Play with the design and feel free to change it up as well. It has so many possibilities that you can dress it up or down to meet whatever occasion you need a card for.

I have decided to try using affiliate links via Amazon to help generate income and also help you with products other than Stampin' Up.
As many of you know, I use many products which Stampin' Up doesn't carry. With that being said, these are products I would be at a lose without. So if you would like to purchase any of these products I will have the links listed below and at the bottom of each video I produce going forth.
I am going to demo a Stamping Platfoam within the week that I feel will help many of us who did not have the great fortune to aquire a Stamperatus when Stampin' Up had them. Every crafter needs a Stamp Positioning Tool in their stamping studio and after researching many items I believe the this one to be the closest to our beloved Stamperatus. So, be on the look out for that video coming soon.
There are many other items that I use daily that you may be interested in as well.
Even if you aren't interested in the products I list, if you click on my links before you you shop on Amazon, I will still benefit from it. I will get a little kick-back by just you clicking. I would greatly appreciate this as I am working very hard to earn income so I can continue doing what I do and bring quality videos to you each week.
Oh the joy of a Quilt Card and this one has such a beautiful design. And you can use up some of those scraps we all end up collecting with our other cards.
This is made with 1/2" & 1/4" strips. You will need to make sure your strips are longer than your 4" square of copy paper that you do your layout on.
If you are interested in any of the products I used you can Click here to access my online Stampin' Up store. All of the items # will be listed in the pdf tutorial below.

Every now and again you run across an amazing little design that at first look boggles your mind but after further investigation, you see it is a rather simple design that anyone can master. So it's true with the card on display here. How cute is this card and how thrilled will the recipient be to open this one up and find what hides within the folds of the pinwheel.
The best part of this is you don't need any fancy equipment to make this card. If you can cut & fold paper then this will be as easy as they come.
You can use any piece of DSP (designer series paper) as long as it is double sided and is 6 x 6.

I am calling this technique a Triple Threat because we are using 3 different techniques to make this beautiful background.
1. Emboss your cardstock using an embossing folder
2. Use VersaMark Ink and Gold or Silver Embossing Powder and heat set it.
3. Using blending brushes and 3-4 ink pads blend the inks on top of the already beautiful design.
Using these 3 techniques you can create so many lovely designs.

June is the month for beautiful weddings and brides and celebrations of love. For every wedding there comes anniversaries so if your calendar of cardmaking is full of those past celebrations of love known as the Wedding Day then surely you're in need of anniversary cards.
Today, I have designed a very simple yet elegant card using a bare minimun of supplies. Black & White cardstock, Black Ink, a simple die set, one embossing folder and a few gems.
I don't know if you are like me when it comes to a beautiful background die but I love the effect that it gives a card. So elegant without too much fuss. That holds true with the Two-Tone Flora Dies and this elegant card I made.
The purpose of my video was to show how to fit the die cut background onto a card base. You have to cut it and then trim away the top and bottom until you get that ever famous 4" x 5 1/4". This is the typical mat size for all A2 card bases.
I wanted mine to scream elegance so I went with a smoky ink, card base and I loved the way it turned out.
Today's project was due to a bit of changing up my original proto-type. I had so much fun on the LIVE today, June 9, 2023 remaking this lovely addition. I had a little help from my audience today with some wonderful suggestions.
So tell me what you think about the cards today. I always give my cards away that I make on the Live presentations. You can find me doing Lives every Friday at 12 noon eastern time.
On the first Friday of each month, I have a major giveaway, usually a stampin' up product during this live. Not to fret because I always have the cards I make as gifts too.
