Oh the bright colors of Spring & Summer. After a long winter of browns, grays and cold weather, we welcome in the spring air, the birds singing and the beauty of our world as it opens it petals to the warm sunlight. Much like us, flowers crave the warmth of spring & summer days. Zinnias are a flower that thrives in the summer heat.
In this collection of beautiful products, Stampin' Up has brought to life the lovely colors, large blooms and that feeling that only the warmth of summer can show.
I love the way this shadow box card opens to reveal a window that we can peer through to see the glory of our Zinnia.

Do you know anyone who doesn't like roses? They are a rare beauty that everyone loves, either the fragrant smell or their regal beauty. When I think of roses, I think romance, love, appreciation and of course weddings.
On the card I designed today, I have incorporated the beauty of the Stippled Roses stamp & die set to create a wedding card. Of course, you could change this up and make it an anniversary card and even a birthday card. Anyone you want to convey your love to would appreciate getting this card.

Hey Chuck has always had a special place in my heart. Stampin' Up has showcased their family of Crazy Chickens quite often and I love each of them. There is something so quaint about these crazy little chicks with their crazy feathers, whimsical expressions that just warms my heart.
Today's card showcases each chicken in it's own frame and with the rustic look of wood grain in the background it has a barnyard feel. I used the Stylish Shape Dies to make my frames and I stamped and colored my birds to make them even more crazy looking than before.
Enchanting right???
Even if the chickens aren't your cup of tea, you can use this layout for a number of other stamped images. So pull out your craft supplies and give it a whirl. I would love to see your creations over on our Facebook Group.

We all love our coffee these days but coffee has changed drastically from the old days. Remember when coffee was just a bland hot drink that we used in the morning for a pep-me-up, you know our caffeine fix. Now it is more like a dessert with artwork on top of the frothy goodness. And, I'm not knocking it at all because I love myself a good latte whether I am making it at home or picking it up from my favorite coffee shop.
Stampin' Up has come up with a collection of products that fit our need for coffee. Latte Love is the perfect set to use to make our coffee lovin' friends just the right card for whatever occasion we need.
I also made my prototype using Poetic Expression DSP

I love the shabby chic vintage look on any card in any colors but when you combine a rustic blue (misty moonlight) with beige (crumb cake) you get something magical. With the right stamps, a little tearing, some ink dragging and WOW. You got yourself a vintage card you would love to send to any of your friends or family.

Below is some samples of one of the newest designs, Magnolia Mood.
I decided to go with the same fold, same stamp & dies but changed up the colors and shapes. I love how beautiful both of these cards turned out.
My love of magnolias came about when I was a little girl around the age of 7. There was a house up the street from where I lived that had a wrought iron fence around it and it was an old Victorian styled home with a large staircase going up to the huge double doors and a large wrap-around porch. The house was intimidating, but not as much as the elderly lady that lived there all alone. Most of the kids said she was a witch and could cast evil spells on you so you best not play outside her yard or ever let her catch you in her yard. So we all steered clear, except one spring day as I was walking by, I smelled the sweetest aroma and as I looked at this huge, thick and very knurly tree, it processed the most beautiful flower I had ever seen or smelled. They were huge and opened wide enough to hold a small baby...well that is an exaggeration to say the least but to a little girl the bloom was massive.
One day the lady came out as I was admiring her big tree with the huge flowers and she asked me what was I doing lingering at her fence. I told her that I loved her flowers on the tree and I was invited in and told I could pick one if I wanted to. It was a dream come true to say the least. From that day forward, I've had a warm place in my heart for magnolias and the sweet lady that was a far cry from being a witch, just a lonely old lady. We became good friends and I'll always remember the big house with the big tree with the big flowers and a very sweet little lady.

Thoughtful Expressions Bundle caught my eye from the minute I laid my eyes on it. The delicate beauty of the hummingbird in flight and the beautiful florals not to mention the dies. So many label dies as well as all the ones you will need to cut out your stamped items too.
This card was cased from JilliBling and I love everything about it. It is soft, elegant, colorful and you can change the message to meet your need no matter what kind of card you need to send.
This card in very detailed and not one you will want to mass produce but for that extra special person, this card can be the perfect one for birthdays, anniversaries, wedding, sympathy, get well, think of you, and even just a note.
Very seldom am I one of those people who are on the edge of what is trending but today I have stumbled upon this wonderful Stadium Wave Fun Fold Card.
It gets its name from the fans at a game when they all stand up and wave in unison as they sit again. If you take notice of this card, it appears to do the same. But with some simple decorations you can make this card for any occasion for anyone who loves a fun card.
You be the judge...a picture is worth a thousand words...
I promise that this card is very simple to put together even though it looks so complicated.

Do you love the look of a vintage card or do you ask yourself what is a vintage card. I guess vintage could be anything that looks worn or old, it could be something from our past, so the word "VINTAGE" could mean many different things.
In this case, it means distressed & worn. If you remember the days of scrapbooking and dying paper with tea bags, then this is that look. Old rustic, torn and yet beautiful in it's own right.
If this card speaks to you then you will want to think about purchasing Notes of Nature and Nature's Sweetness DSP. Both of which can be found in my online Stampin' Up Site by clicking here.
Got scraps? Sure you do! All of us who make cards on a regular basis always have a bunch of scraps. Today, I'm going to show you how to turn those small scraps into an elegant card without any fuss or work. Just cut your pieces down to 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" squares and wah-lah, you have the makings of a beautiful card. I laid mine out on the Scalloped Contour die cut and paired with a matching cardstock, add a sentiment and you have a pretty card in hardly no time at all.

Have you ever tried to make one of those adorable angled cards, you know the ones where you have to measure down one side and up on the other side, then line up your paper just so and hope with a prayer that it will fit once you finish cutting your precious DSP? Sure you have, we all have. But I have a way for you to do this with NO measuring! Just glue and snip. Wah-lah, you've got yourself an angled card that turns out perfect every time and you can decide just how deep you want that angle.
As you can see, the options can be endless and so many different ways to decorate this layout to fit your every need.
