CHRISTMAS CARD # 19-Regal Reindeer in snowy night of navy

 I think all of us dream of a white Christmas.  But have you ever ask yourself "why"?  I think the answer to that is just one word...PEACE.

If you have ever ventured out in the still of a snowy night, there is a quiet that covers the earth and a peace that you can feel deep within your soul.  We as humans crave that peace and snow in all it's glorious wonder gives us a moment of peace.

I hope I captured that in this card.  It was so much fun to make and if you have this set, then you already know how much fun it can be.

Christmas Card #17-Christmas Barn

 Happy Tuesday everyone!!  We are only a day away from welcoming in the month of December.  With all the festivisties and parties, family get togethers, church functions, etc...everyone will be busy as bees getting everything ready for the BIG DAY...Dec. 25th.  

I hope that you like today's card.  I have pondered with this stamp set and even though it was one of my favorites in the June-January Mini Catalog, I struggled with exactly how I wanted it to look once I stamped and colored it. I didn't give up on this stamp because I did fall in love with it at first sight and it would have been so disappointing if I didn't use it.  I'm so glad I didn't give up.

I love the way it turned out and I hope that you would find some inspiration in trying something that may have been a little difficult at first.  You know the old saying, try and try again!!  :)

When making this card & recording it I didn't add the trees.  After I finished, I looked at it and said to myself, this card needs something else.  So the trees were added.

Christmas Card # 16-Boughs of Holly Angle Strip Card-Merry Christmas

 We are back after our little break for Thanksgiving.  It is my prayer that everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday and spent the day with loved ones.  If you traveled away from home, I sincerely hope your travels were safe and stress free.

Now we are in full Christmas Mod!!  So here is another card that was inspired from pinterest.  You can get so much inspiration just from browsing the cards there but you can also get lost in a sea of all sort of projects from every sort of craft & skill.

Today's card is a beautiful one with a touch of gold that give it that elegant touch we all love at Christmas.  Along with the traditional colors of red & green, this is sure to please the giver as well as the recipient.

Christmas Card #14 - Beauty of Friendship Winter Scene

Happy Friday Everyone!!  Well it is just about time to cook the turkey, make all the trimmings and feast until your belly is about to burst.  LOL  That is what most people think when they think Thanksgiving but to me it is a time set aside to give thanks for all we have.  As a Christian, I thank my Lord Jesus for His unfaultering love to come and die for me.  That is what we all should be the most thankful for.  No greater love is known to man than that which a friend would lay down their life for you.

Christmas Card #12 - Snowflakes & Flurries

 Who doesn't love a snow day?  Well I say that because I live in the south and it is a major occasion when we get a good snow.  Snowed in, hot cocoa, pot of hot soup simmering on the stove and of course cuddling on the sofa with a warm blanket and fussy socks.  Oh yes, a snow day is simply the best.

Well here we have snowflakes & flurries without the cold, scraping windowshields, slipping and sliding to get where you have to go....
