Lovely & Sweet Elegant Card for any occasion

 When I think elegant, I see beautiful colors in black & white with perhaps a bit of gold or silver.  This was captured with this cute card using Nature's Sweetness DSP along with the dies Lovely & Sweet.  I paired the paper with the stamp & die set and came up with this very elegant card.  I hope you enjoy it.

 This is a classic fold that has been around for a very long time and yet it is timeless for it's versatility.  When you load it up with layers it transforms into a work of art.

Christmas Paper can make a Birthday Card

 Many times we limit our creativity by thinking we have to use certain paper for just one kind of card.  Such as the card I made today.  I wanted to show that you can use Christmas paper and Christmas colors to showcase other occasion cards as well.  I made this one into a birthday card and yes the paper I used was from the Christmas Collection that is now available online through the "ONLINE EXCLUSIVES."  

I thought it would be fun to try this and I really love the way this turned out.  Sometimes it is so much fun to think outside of the box and let go and do something very unpredictable.  

You could certainly make this into a Christmas card by simply changing the sentiment.

Light The Year Christmas Card

 Awwww......Christmas Cards Galore!!  It is that time of the year even if you aren't in the mood.  Christmas is the one time of the year that we send out the most cards at one time.  And the post office tells us that they should go out by December 15th.

That give us 125 days from today (August 12, 2024) until we need to have all our cards finished and mailed.  Not to mention we all have a life outside of the craftroom, families to attend to, chores to do, errands to run....and the list goes on and on.

Acetate Sectional Circle Card Featuring Thoughtful Journey DSP

 I am always in search of that one something different than the ordinary to bring to all of you.  I thought this design was just that....something out of the ordinary and kind of special.

Celebrate the Season with Iconic Imagery Suite & Golden Greenery Dies

 Wow!!  It is the most wonderful time of the year!!!  Wait, just wait a cotten-pickin' minute.  Temperature's are still in the upper 90's, the humidity is off the chart, hurricaines are raging in the sea....there's nothing wonderful about this time of the year.....BUT WAIT!!!

Christmas is coming!  Hot Cocoa, Family Gatherings, Decking the Halls and all the joy of the Christmas season is just around the corner.  Why not stay in from the oppressive heat of summer and concentrate on making up your Christmas Cards for 2024.

The card I made today is so very simple and yet it is elegant in it's own way.  The buffalo check ribbon gives it a homespun feel and yet the sentiment let's us know it's time to celebrate the birth of our Savior.

Remember, you can make this any occasion card you need with this easy layout.  Simply Elegant!

Golden Greenery Gatefold Tuck-away Christmas Card

 With the new "online exclusives", we have the opportunity to do a few Christmas cards & projects before the holiday season gets underway.  Think of it as a little cool way to think about the cooler weather in the middle of this oh so HOT summer.

Today, I used the Golden Greenery Collection to make a stunning Christmas card.  I love the way this gatefold tucks together to make this card a bit different.

Thoughtful Journey Shaker Happy Birthday Card

 I am always amazed by a beautiful "SHAKER CARD."  So many people are intimidated by the process of making this type of card, when really they are quite easy if you follow the steps.

1.    Cut your opening in the front of card or front matte.

2.    Cover opening with a piece of acetate using tear and tape.

3.    Layout your foam strips around the window opening.

4.    Sprinkle in your shaker bits.

5.    Cover with your scene paper & make sure everything is sealed.

6.  Continue with your card as usual with decorating it with flowers, bows, gems, etc.

As you can see these steps are easy to do if you follow them in the correct order.

Citrus Blooms meet Night of Navy

 Even though I've done a card using Citrus Blooms before, it is such a versatile set, you can revisit it over and over again.

My inspiration came from the lovely Designer Series Paper, Mediterranean Blooms. It is paired with beautiful shades of blue and of course all the citrus images.

Elegant White on White Monochromatic Congratulations Card

 Every now & then we need a card that exudes elegance.  Perhaps for a wedding, anniversary or any milestone in ones life.  

I had a friend to text me last week asking for ideas for a wedding card and that prompted me making this one.

White on white with just a splash of smoky slate lends an elegance to this card.  I also used two different embossing folders for added texture and dimension.

Spotlight on Nature meets Country Lace

In the designing of this card, I drew from a couple different post on Pinterest, added my own flare and here you have it.  Simple country charm.  I thought this was super cute and a card you would be proud to send to anyone.  The best part about it is, you could make it for any occasion by simply changing the sentiments.

This card happened due to having some leftover pieces from another card I had made.  I was just playing with the circle pieces and came up with this design.

Card #1

As I stated in the video, this is my first Christmas Card for Christmas in July and the first for the Christmas of 2024.

I find this such a cute and charming set.  I love the addition of the ice skates.

 Citrus Blooms is a lovely stamp set with dies and DSP.  The Mediterranean Blooms is a beautiful assortment of citrus fruits (lemons & oranges) coupled with beautiful greeneries.  It is complimented with Night of Navy, white, and Boho Blue.

I wanted to show you today how to use up what we most likely are to through into the trash.  The outter edges of our DSP are many times thought of as trash.  But I am going to show you that you can use these pieces to make beautiful cards.

I wanted to also show that you can use either color combination with this beautiful collection.

Sweet Peas Stamp Set

 My Sweet Pea!  That was a term of endearment I used to use when my babies were babies.  All 3 were my Sweet Peas!  So needless to say, when I saw this set, I had to have it.  

What an adorable set and just look at those peas.  How stinkin' cute!!  There are party peas, single peas, couple peas....and with the vines you can create a garden of peas.
